Plan the connections your workflow needs

Integration starts with a business outcome. Tell us which systems hold the required data, what must move between them, and how the receiving team will use it. We can discuss the relevant ConneQD connection and the wider vSMAART workflow.

Discuss your systems

Common system categories to assess

ERP systems hold business records and transaction results. Warehouse applications hold operational information about stock and movement. L4 platforms hold serialization and traceability data within their scope. Ticketing and communication systems carry reported issues and requests. Each connection must be assessed against the actual interface and permissions available.

What determines integration fit?

The application version, interface, authentication method, data format, and available permissions all matter. A named product does not by itself establish compatibility. Confirm which business objects and actions the connection supports.

Prepare for an integration discussion

  • System names and versions.
  • Source and target for each data flow.
  • Interface documentation and sanitized sample data.
  • Required identifiers, fields, and validation rules.
  • Expected volume and timing.
  • Read and write permissions needed for each action.
  • Failure scenarios and recovery expectations.
  • Test environment and acceptance owner.

Agree how success will be verified

Define the expected result in the target system. Include tests for invalid data, unavailable endpoints, and repeated messages. Agree who reviews the evidence before the connection enters live use. A connector directory is published only when each connection has a verified status.
