Questions about vSMAART
These answers explain the platform's role and the details to confirm during evaluation. Your agreed implementation scope defines the features and connections available to your team.
What is vSMAART?
vSMAART is a pharmaceutical operations platform from VariTec Consulting. Its four modules cover exception and workflow management, master data management, EDI and B2B transactions, and integration.
What does CheQD do?
CheQD manages exception and resolution work. It helps teams organize cases, review context, and follow the actions needed to resolve an issue.
What does SynQD do?
SynQD manages product, partner, and location master data. Its role is to help teams maintain and validate the records used by business workflows.
What does TransaQD do?
TransaQD supports EDI and B2B document processing. The supported document types, versions, and partner requirements must be confirmed for the implementation.
What does ConneQD do?
ConneQD supports system connections and data movement. A workflow defines how those connections are used to complete a business task.
Do we need all four modules?
The relevant combination depends on the problem and the capabilities already in your environment. Agree the module and commercial scope during evaluation.
Will vSMAART replace our existing systems?
It is positioned to work across existing systems. Define which system owns each record and action before deciding where vSMAART fits in the process.
Can vSMAART connect to our ERP or L4 platform?
The team needs to review the application, version, interface, permissions, and required operations. Do not assume a ready-made connector exists for every system. See integrations.
How are EDI and EPCIS different?
EDI supports business document exchange. EPCIS supports the sharing of visibility event data. A business process can use both, but they have different purposes and requirements. Confirm each required interface and version separately. GS1 describes EPCIS as a standard for sharing visibility event data.
Does AI confirm the cause of every exception?
No. AI-assisted triage may suggest an interpretation or investigation step. The workflow needs evidence and appropriate review before a suspected cause becomes a confirmed finding.
Can AI take action in another system?
Only the actions supported by the integration and permitted by the agreed workflow should be in scope. Confirm access, approval rules, and the evidence recorded for each action.
Can the platform guarantee regulatory compliance?
No platform alone can guarantee that an organization meets every applicable requirement. Evaluate how the configured workflow supports your responsibilities and approved procedures.
What does an implementation require?
Typical discovery inputs include a use case, system list, data samples, partner requirements, owners, and acceptance criteria. Discuss your workflow.
How long does implementation take?
Timing depends on the data, interfaces, partner readiness, scope, and tests required. Ask for a plan based on your use case rather than a general fixed duration.
How is pricing determined?
Request a proposal for the modules and implementation scope you need. Ask about pricing and confirm what the quote includes for connections, configuration, support, and future changes.
Can we see the product before deciding?
Request a demo and describe the workflow you want to evaluate. Ask the team to identify which steps are available today and which would require additional work.
Where can customers get support?
Use the support route agreed for your deployment or contact support@vsmaart.ai. See the support page.
Where can we review data handling?
Visit Trust and data handling and ask for the current details relevant to your proposed deployment. Review the applicable policies and agreement as part of that discussion.
