ConneQD ยท Integration and middleware

Connect pharma systems with ConneQD

ConneQD is the integration and middleware module in vSMAART. It supports the connections and data movement that link your applications to an operational workflow.

Start with the business handoff

A useful integration has a clear purpose. Define what starts the process, which data must move, where it must arrive, and how the team will know that the handoff succeeded.

Define the connection in context

Source and target. Identify which application sends the data and which application uses it. Confirm the supported interface and the system owner on each side.

Data mapping. Agree how identifiers, fields, and statuses map between systems.

Workflow steps. Define the trigger, validation, routing, and expected outcome, including steps that need a person to review or approve the action.

Failure handling. Agree what happens when an endpoint is unavailable, data is rejected, or the response is unclear.

Bring systems into the same operational process

Your integration scope may involve an ERP, warehouse application, L4 platform, ticketing service, or another business system. The available connection depends on its interfaces, permissions, version, and the agreed implementation.

Illustrative workflow. A source system publishes a business event. The integration retrieves the required data, maps it to the target format, and passes it to the next step. If the handoff fails, the workflow records the result and routes the issue for review. Confirm the supported trigger, monitoring, and recovery controls for the specific connection.

Questions

Is every system available through a ready-made connector? No universal connector coverage is implied. Ask which connectors are available today and which connections require configuration or additional work.
