Manage pharma exceptions with CheQD
CheQD is the exception and workflow management module in vSMAART. It gives teams a place to organize issues, review the investigation, and track the work needed to resolve them.
Keep the issue and the investigation together
An exception can begin in an email, a transaction, or a connected system. The hard part is often finding the right context and coordinating the next step. CheQD helps teams manage that work as a case with an owner, a status, and a record of the investigation.
Support a repeatable resolution process
Organize the queue. Give the team a clear view of the issues that need attention. Use the agreed workflow to identify ownership and the next action.
Review relevant context. Bring the information needed for the investigation into the case. The available context depends on the connected systems and the data included in your implementation.
Use AI to assist triage. AI-assisted triage can help organize incoming information and suggest areas to investigate. A suggestion is a starting point for review. The team should confirm the evidence before treating a proposed cause as the resolution.
Track the outcome. Record what changed, who took the action, and how the team confirmed the result.
Who uses CheQD?
Operations teams use it to coordinate cases. Support teams use it to follow investigations. Data and integration owners use it to understand the issues assigned to them. Managers use the process history to review workload and recurring problems.
Connect the case to the wider workflow
SynQD provides the master data context. TransaQD provides the business document context. ConneQD supports the system connections needed to gather or exchange information.

Questions
Can CheQD work with issues from different sources? The source channels and connected systems must be confirmed for your implementation. Bring examples of the issues you receive so the team can map the intake process.
Can AI close a case without review? Do not assume that it can. A suspected cause, a completed action, and a verified outcome are different states.
How should success be measured? Useful measures include time to assign an owner, time to resolve a case, reopened cases, and repeated causes.
